As we shared at our Congregational Update on May 28, and via email, as part of the process of Capital Pres Fairfax becoming a particularized, distinct church, all of our financial giving needs to transition from McLean Pres to Capital Pres Fairfax beginning on May 1st. Our church will begin using a new online giving and church management platform, Planning Center Online (PCO) also called “Church Center.”
In our transition to PCO, we’ve created a profile for you already. When you complete the steps below to set up your financial giving, you’ll be prompted to log in using your phone number.
›› If you have an active, recurring online gift set up in our current platform (Connect/CCB), please cancel your recurring gift from Connect and move it to PCO. Here’s how to do so:
*In order to better steward our finances, we encourage you to give via ACH (only $0.30 charge per transaction). If you must give by credit card, please consider covering the cost of the 2.3% processing fee.
Please note: your previous gifts to McLean Pres that have been allocated to Capital Pres Fairfax will show up in your profile with the tag “via McLean Pres”. You will receive a 2024 giving statement from McLean Pres for those donations. For any donations that you make through Planning Center to Capital Pres Fairfax, you will receive a 2024 giving statement in January 2025.
›› If you would like to give financially to our church for the first time, thank you! You may set up a new gift in PCO through our giving page as well.
›› If you prefer to give by personal check, all checks must be made out to Capital Presbyterian Church of Fairfax beginning May 1st. You may drop these in our Sunday Offering baskets or mail to Capital Presbyterian Church of Fairfax, P.O. Box 2732, Fairfax, VA 22031.
