Austin Kettle

As Pastor of Community Life, Austin oversees the Community Groups ministry, and is the connection point for men’s group, women’s group, and Community Group leaders to the church. As part of our pastoral team, Austin coordinates pastoral visits, helps connect our people with our local mission partners, and leads the Senior Saints ministry as well as a D-Group for high school boys.

Austin grew up in England, met his Texan wife in Ireland, dated her in Belgium, married her and moved to Burma, and came to the US in 2020. You can ask him about stints in Brazil and France another time. Austin loves sharing the beauty of Christ through his word and his work, firstly with his wife Rachel and daughter Adeline, and then with all of you. Austin was a high school English teacher before moving into pastoral ministry, and continues to be passionate about helping people grow into their God-glorifying gifts, and helping them see the depths of wonder that are in God’s word. He enjoys most sports except golf.
